The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 21-27.

The NTJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week is Temple College second baseman Travis Chestnut.

The freshman from Pflugerville, TX had five extra base hits while hitting .563 for the week. He had 2 doubles, 2 triples, a home run, 9 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a stolen base for the Leopards.

The NTJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week is Logan Henderson of McLennan Community College.

The freshman righthander from Katy, TX recorded 9 strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings including six consecutive batters. He did not allow a hit or a run while walking only one.
