Temple will finish 2025 season with a doubleheader at Hill

The Temple College Leopards begin the final week of the regular series Saturday afternoon at the Hill College baseball complex

Game times of the doubleheader are 12 noon and 2:30 pm.

The teams split Tuesday's doubleheader, as Temple won the first game, 7-3, while Hill won game two, 8-2.

Through 50 games, the Leopards hit .276 with an on-base percentage of .397 and slugging percentage of .404. TC scored 283 runs on 388 hits, 71 doubles, 5 triples, 33 homers, 253 runs batted in, 234 walks, been hit 61 times, and have stolen 64 bases in 77 attempts.

Kade Davis (.353 BA, .415 OBP, 5 HR, 35 RBI,12 doubles), Andrew Ermis (.331 BA, .486 OBP, 9 HR, 39 RBI, 24 HBP, 19 walks), Lance Cantrell (.325 BA, .431 OBP, 3 HR, 30 RBI, 12 doubles, 28 walks), and Ryder Rutledge (.306 BA, .436 OBP, 2 HR, 21 RBI, 19 walks) have been among the productive Leopards this season.

Temple's staff earned run average this season is 6.05, with 3333 strikeouts and 199 walks in 340 2/3 innings.

Patrick Collopy (7-2, 2.87 ERA, 81 strikeouts, 23 walks in 69 IP), Tenery (5-3, 3.55 ERA, 55 strikeouts, 32 walks in 63 1/3 IP), Tobin Eschief (3-6, 5.29 ERA, 51 strikeouts, 24 walks in 47 2/3 IP), and Davis (4-5, 5.33 ERA, 46 strikeouts, 27 walks in 49 IP) have been the starting four in the rotation for Temple.

Through 52 games, Hill has hit .275 with an on-base percentage of .408 and slugging percentage of .429. The Rebels scored 351 runs on 405 hits, 71 doubles, 12 triples, 44 homers, 339 runs batted in, 253 walks, been hit by 91 pitches, and have stolen 123 bases on 130 attempts.

Samuel York (.341 BA, .436 OBP, 4 HR, 37 RBI, 24 SB), Lane Walton (.321 BA, .406 OBP, 7 HR, 54 RBI), Dylan Martinez (.283 BA, .402 OBP, 24 RBI), Tanner Cooper (.261 BA, .412 OBP, 5 HR, 34 RBI), and Aiden Hatton (.260 BA, .473 OBP, 4 HR, 42 RBI, 39 walks, 14 HBP) are among the offensive leaders in the Rangers' arsenal.

Ranger's pitching staff has an earned run average of 7.13, having allowed 304 earned runs (338 total runs), struck out 332 and walked 230 in 385 innings.
