The Temple College baseball will continue North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play on Thursday afternoon as they will travel to Gainesville to take on North Central Texas College.
First pitch of the doubleheader will is at noon, with game two 30 minutes following the completion of game one.
Temple (12-10 overall, 3-1 NTJCAC) won three of four games in their conference-opening series over Vernon College, having outscored the Chaparrals, 24-12. Ten of the runs came in Joseph McMurtry's no-hitter on Saturday.

Temple has a solid fielding percentage of .964, having committed just 24 errors in 662 chances.
The Leopards' pitching staff earned run average is 5.75. In 144 innings, the Leopards have allowed 92 runs (78 earned) on 131 hits, struck out 139, walked 78, and hit 24. Opponents are hitting .240 against TC.
McMurtry (3-0, 2.35 ERA, 23 innings, 29 strikeouts, 13 walks), Davis (0-3, 9.43 ERA, 21 innings, 20 strikeouts, 15 walks), Peyton Reynolds (2-0, 5.89 ERA, 18 1/3 innings, 14 strikeouts, seven walks), and Thomas Perez (1-1, 5.40 ERA, 15 innings, 13 strikeouts, four walks) have gotten the bulk of the work for the Leopards.
NCTC (12-8 overall, 0-0 NTJCAC) hit .341 as a team and have an on-base percentage of .441. They have scored 167 runs on 192 hits, 46 doubles, five triples, 24 homers, 145 RBI, 92 walks, have been hit by 15 pitches, and stolen 40 bases.
Kai Reid (.431 BA, .500 OBP, seven doubles, three HR, 11 RBI, six stolen bases), Erick Martinez (.415 BA, .457 OBP, two homers, 14 RBI), Jackson Ridge (.383 BA, .492 OBP, nine RBI, 11 walks), Colson Wood (.365 BA, .424 OBP, six HR, 22 RBI), and Logan Sanchez (.362 BA, .426 OBP, three HR, 15 RBI) are chief producers for the Lions through 20 games. The team has a fielding percentage of .956.
NCTC has a staff ERA of 6.37 through 131 1/3 innings pitched. Collectively, the staff has allowed 105 runs (93 earned) on 134 hits, struck out 158, walked 79, and hit 22 batters.
The Lions have a diverse pitching staff, with Jax Stockton, Matthew Clark, Brayden Stout, Merrick Beamish, Brooks Griggs-Bell, and William Hickson shouldering most of the work load.
