A second half rally boosted the Temple College men's basketball team past Hill College this afternoon in Hillsboro. The Leopards won 94-85, outscoring the Rebels 57-42 in the second half. Temple's Jon-Reese Woodson came in off the bench and led all scorers with a double-double, 22 points and 13 rebounds. Four other Leopards scored in the double digits, Kaelin Jackson had 20, Malik Malone had 17, J.R. Adams had 14, and Torenzo Saunders had 10 and was one rebound shy of a double-double. The Leopards are now 5-2 in conference and 21-4 overall. They will be back in action Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. when they host Weatherford College.
