The Temple College men's basketball team won 111-104 to open the season in Athens at Trinity Valley Community College. The Leopards were down one at the half, 49-50, but played an outstanding second half outscoring the Cardinals 62-54 for the victory. Temple sophomore guard Kaelin Jackson led the Leopards with 33 points and seven assists. Four other Leopards scored in the double digits, sophomore J.R. Adams with 24 points, seven assists, and five steals, sophomore John Mouton with 20 points and nine rebounds, and freshmen Jibrael Washington and Sammy Brooks each chipped in 11 points. The Leopards will play their home opener Saturday November 4 at 4:00 p.m. against club team Strength N Motion at TC Gym
