The Temple College Leopards lost a hard fought battle 80-76 to McLennan Community College. The Leopards closed the gap to only have a one point deficit at the half but McLennan pulled away in the final minutes of the game. John Mouton led the Leopards with 17 points. Kaelin Jackson and J.R. Adams were right behind Mouton with 16 and 15 points respectively, and Jibrael Washington contributed 12 points. The Leopards are now 22-7 overall, 6-5 in conference, and now in a must-win situation for their final game. The Leopards will host Collin County Community College, currently tied for first place, Wednesday February 28 at 7:00 p.m. The Leopards must win to finish in the top four in conference to extend their season into the Region V Tournament. The Leopards will recognize the sophomores at the game.
