It was light week for the Temple College Leopards, with both basketball teams playing one game each.
The schedule ahead has a total of five games, with the men's basketball team playing three road games and the women's basketball team hosting the Temple Classic on Friday and Saturday.

Men's hoops fall to Eastfield
The Temple College men's basketball team traveled to Richardson last Tuesday to take on Dallas College – Eastfield.
The Harvester Bees, who received votes in the Nov. 24 Div. III Top 15 poll, shot a blistering 58.8% from the field and outrebounded the Leopards 38-19 on their way to a 99-79 win.
Roy Gardner led the Leopards with 15 points, and Byron Piper and Jaymes Brown-Peterson each scored 12 points and two rebounds.
Where the Leopards sit
Temple is 6-4, which is third-best in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference.
The Leopards average 92.6 points per game and yield 85.3 points per contest.
The road ahead for the Leopards
Temple will travel on Thursday to begin a three-day stay at the Howard College Classic at Dorothy Garrett Coliseum in Big Spring.
The Leopards face No. 6 Midland College on Thursday, Western Texas College on Friday, and No. 18 Howard College on Saturday, all with 3 pm starts.
Temple returns home for four straight games with starts on Dec. 11 against Strength 'N Motion Academy.
Women's basketball wins their matchup against UMHB JV
The Temple College women's basketball team hosted the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor last Tuesday at Kirby Johnson Court.
Having received votes in last week's NJCAA Division I Top 25 poll, Temple grabbed an early lead and never relented as they defeated the Crusaders, 78-38.
The Leopards led the entire game, as they led after the first ten minutes, 16-8, and at the half, 41-16.
Temple outscored the Crusaders in the second half, 37-22, to claim the 40-point win.
Gabby Edo registered a double-double, with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Korina Garcia added 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Ranyiah Hunt added a double-double with 12 points and 11 steals.
Where the Leopards sit
Temple is 7-1 overall, which is tied for second-best in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference with No. 8 McLennan Community College. No. 15 Grayson has a perfect 8-0 mark in non-conference play.
The Leopards average 70.9 points per game and yield 52 points per tilt.
The road ahead for the Leopards
The Leopards will take on Coastal Bend College in Beeville Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 pm. They will host the Temple Classic on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Odessa College will play Angelina College at 5 pm, followed by Temple playing No. 18 Tyler Junior College at 7 pm. On Saturday, Tyler will take on Odessa at 2 pm, followed by the Leopards against Angelina at 2 pm.
