The Temple College Leopards will finish out the 2025 portion of their 2025-2026 campaign on Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm when they host Coastal Bend College at Kirby Johnson Court.
The contest will be the last game before the Leopards host the Ranger College Rangers in the opening of North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference action on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
The Leopards (8-7) are coming off back-to-back wins over Strength 'N Motion Academy, with victories of 111-83 on Dec. 11 and 100-83 this past Monday.
Temple average 89.4 points per game (23rd nationally) and allow 87.1 points. TC shoots 47.1% from the field, 33% from beyond the three-point range, and 62.9% from the free-throw line.
Josh Telfort (12.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg), Roy Gardner (12.1 ppg, 5.1 rpg), Jaymes Brown-Peterson (11.1 ppg, 2.4 steals), Harry Bates (10.8 ppg, 5.9 rpg), Byron Piper (7.9 ppg, 14-of-53 behind the arc), Ovie Agbigbe (7.6 ppg, 17-of-50 from behind the three-point line), and Tayshaun Goston (6.5 ppg, 16-of-40 on three-pointers) pace the Leopards' offense.
Coastal Bend (3-8) averages 77.5 points per game and allows on average 79 points. The Cougars shoot 42.3% from the field, 28.4% from beyond the three-point arc, and 57.6% from the free-throw line.
Taj Petteway (10.6 ppg), Jarrius Jackson, Jr. (9.8 ppg), Samuel Nwugha Galan (9.7 ppg), and Matthew Johnson (9.5 ppg) are the leading scorers for the Cougars.
