A slow start plagued the Lady Leopard basketball team again creating a deficit too large to overcome in their 66-62 loss to Hill College at home. The Lady Leopards were behind 37-20 at the half but turned it on in the second half outscoring Hill 42-29, but it wasn't enough to overtake Hill for a come from behind victory. The Region V Player of the Week, Jamia Miller, led the Lady Leopards with 17 points and Alena Johnson helped out with 11 points. The Lady Leopards are now 11-9 overall and 2-3 in conference. They will be back in action Wednesday January 31 at 5:30 p.m. at McLennan Community College.
