The Lady Leopards saw an eight point lead in the first quarter, turn into a five point lead at the half, turn into a three point deficit entering the final quarter, before going cold in their 77-69 loss to Ranger at home. Hopes of finishing in the top four in the conference to make the region tournament just got smaller. A pair of freshmen were the dominate forces for the Lady Leopards, Makayla Gatewood scored 18 points and Alena Johnston was right behind her with 17 points. Johnston made Temple's only three-point shot out of 20 attempts. The Lady Leopards are now 13-13 overall and 4-7 in conference. They will be back in action February 21 at 5:00 p.m. in Hillsboro at Hill College.
