The Lady Leopards were led by a couple of returners again tonight for the 92-73 win over Coastal Bend Community College in Waco. Sophomore returner Alena Johnston shot 50% (4-8) from behind the three-point line and scored 22 points to lead the Lady Leopards. Makayla Gatewood had another big night and another double-double with 11 rebounds and 20 points. Gatewood was also perfect from the free-throw line (8-8). Freshman guard from Katy, TX, Tia Tolbert, was also big for Temple College providing 20 points off of the bench. The Lady Leopards are now 2-0 and will be back in action at home Wednesday November 7 at 5:30 p.m. when they host Blinn College.
