The Temple College Lady Leopards defeated Blinn College 66-63 at TC Gym. Four Lady Leopards scored in the double digits to help pace TC throughout the tight match up. Sophomore returner Doriana Brown led the Lady Leopards with 17 points. Other Lady Leopards in the double digits were last week's Region V Player of the Week Makayla Gatewood with 13 points, Alena Johnston with 10 points, and freshman guard Brooke Lopez also with 10 points. Johnston made a couple of clutch free throws with just seconds remaining in the game to extend Temple's lead to four points. This win puts the Lady Leopards at 3-0 on the year.

Temple College will host the Temple Classic this Friday and Saturday at TC Gm. The Lady Leopards will face Coastal Bend College Friday at 5:00 p.m. and San Antonio College Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
