Outstanding performances from sophomores Alena Johnston and Makayla Gatewood helped lead the Lady Leopards to a 74-66 win over Blinn College in Brenham. The Lady Leopards took a 12-point lead into the half but saw their lead slip to just one point going into the fourth. The Lady Leopards then outscored Blinn 33-26 for the win. Johnston was the Lady Leopards leading scorer with 25 points. Gatewood had a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Brooke Lopez also scored 12 points.

The Lady Leopards are now 8-2 overall and will be back in action Friday December 7 at 2:00 p.m. at San Antonio College for their final game before the holiday break.
