Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 5.
The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Jordyn Carter of Temple College.
A 5-8 sophomore guard from Austin, TX, Jordyn went 12-22 from the field and hit on 5 of her 7 free throws en route to scoring a season-high 29 points in the Lady Leopards' road game in Ranger. She also posted seven rebounds and, six steals and blocked two shots
