Fresh off their upset of No. 8 McLennan Community College, the Temple College women's basketball hosted Southwestern Christian College on Monday evening at Kirby Johnson Court.

Down 44-32 with 4:51 to play in the third quarter, Temple scored a 23-12 stretch to close out the quarter and headed to the fourth period, 55-54 lead.

The Leopards outscored the Rams in the fourth quarter, 31-18, for the win.

Temple (13-8 overall, 3-4 NTJCAC) shot 8-of-16 at the free-throw line, and drained eight three-pointers.
