The Temple College volleyball team lost both games today against nationally ranked opponents to close out the Tyler Junior College Tournament. The Leopards faced #14 Panola and lost in four sets, 25-16, 25-22, 16-25, 25-22. Hitters Alysia Espada and Hannah Smyers were strong for the Leopards with 11 and 12 kilss respectively. Leopard setter Mikayla Blount recorded 26 assists and Temple College's Taylor Beltz had 13 digs.

Leopards later faced #17 Wharton College and also lost in four sets, 25-22, 11-25, 25-18, 25-22. Espada had another good outing with 13 kills and 11 digs. Beltz also contributed another 14 digs.

Leopards next match is a home tri-match where they will be hosting #17 Wharton College and North American University on Tuesday August 30.
