Temple College opened their home tournament going 2-0 on the day. The Leopards defeated Laramie County Community College in three matches 25-20, 25-18, and 25-16 for their first win of the day. Alysia Espada led the offensive attack for the Leopards with nine kills. Leopards defense was carried by Taylor Beltz with 13 digs.

In the second match of the day the Leopards defeated Navarro College in five sets, 21-25, 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 15-9. Espada, Landri Greathouse, and Abigail Royall combined for 40 of the Leopards 54 kills. Beltz shined again on defense with 25 digs.

Temple College (4-5) will continue their tournament tomorrow at TC Gym with matches scheduled against Odessa College at 8:00 a.m. and Mountain View College at 10:00 a.m.
