The Temple College volleyball team lost in five tonight to Vernon College, 22-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-21, 14-16. The Leopards had five players in double digits in kills, Alysia Espada with 17, Abigail Royall with 16, Landri Greathouse with 15, and Hannah Smyers with 12. Mikayla Blount tallied up 52 kills throughout the five sets and Royall and Espada led the defense with 18 and 15 digs respectively.
Temple College volleyball is now 6-4 in conference and 14-17 overall. The Leopards will be back in action when they host North Central Texas College on Monday October 24 at 6:00 p.m.
