After losing the first two sets 21-25 and 20-25 the Leopards rallied back to win the next three sets 25-19, 25-17, and 15-4 to defeat Vernon College at TC Gym. Breonna Fleming led the Leopard offense with 14 kills and Lauren Cox added 11 and Chloe Darilek added 10. Defensively Alexandria Castillo led the team with an impressive 33 digs, while Kendall Herring added 20, Lisa Gonzalez 19, and Darilek added 15 digs. Gonzalez also added 27 assists. The Leopards are now 5-21 overall and 3-5 in conference. They will be back in action on Monday October 22 at 6:00 p.m. when they travel to Ranger College.
