Things are humming on the east side of Temple, as construction of buildings around campus are nearing completion, the installation of artificial is mere weeks away at the Danny Scott Athletic Complex, and Leopards Volleyball had their first official practices of the season this weekend on Kirby Johnson Court.
That is right, Leopards fans: the Temple College Athletic calendar is underway for the 2025-2026 school year.
It also marks the return of the Leopards Athletic Report.
Here is this week's update:

Outside hitter Grace Schneider, a sophomore transfer from Wharton County Community College and a former standout at Little River Academy, and Mya Smith, a redshirt sophomore from Hutto, leads a pack of 12 newcomers that are looking to make an impact on a Leopards squad that went 16-15 in the regular season, 9-5 in the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference, and made a Region V Women's Volleyball Playoff appearance for the first time since 2012.
More to follow in the coming weeks.
