The Temple College Volleyball team will look to get back into the win column on Wednesday evening as they host the Southwestern Christian College Rams at Kirby Johnson Court.
First serve will be at 6 pm, with the Temple College PlaySight broadcast starting at 5:50 pm.
Temple (6-13 overall, 0-6 NTJCAC) is seeking its first win in North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference play, having dropped six straight conference matches and seven straight matches overall.
The Leopards have better averages in conference than overall in several statistical categories. TC averages 13.59 digs, 8.5 kills, 8.14 assists, and 1.70 blocks per game in conference.
Yasmine Traore leads the Leopards with 111 kills, averaging 2.13 per set. Karlee Williamson leads TC with 213 assists, an average of 4.18 per game, and Abbie Soileau has 182 assists, leading TC with an average of 4.67 assists per contest. Hanna Ward leads Temple with 194 digs, averaging 3.73 helpers per game.
Southwestern Christian (0-18 overall, 0-6 NTJCAC) is seeking their first win, not only in conference play but overall. They have dropped 33 straight games, dating back to their 3-2 loss to Independence Community College at the Dallas College Richland Tournament, which was a match that they led 2-0.
The Rams average 6.04 digs, 4.15 kills, 3.77 assists, and 2.71 blocks per set.
The game will be the first of two this week for the Leopards, as they will travel on Saturday to take on No. 3 Weatherford College.
