The Temple College Volleyball team will continue their three match homestand on Saturday afternoon at Kirby Johnson Court, as the Leopards host Collin County Community College.
First serve of the match will be at 1 pm.
The two teams met in Frisco on Sept. 3 in the Cougars' first ever North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference game. Temple jumped out to a 2-0 in the match before the Cougars roared back to win 3-2.
Scores of the match were 18-25, 13-25, 25-13, 25-17, and 15-9.
Andrea Ortega led the Cougars with 14 kills, Emily Torres had 29 digs, and Parker Kimbal added 22 assists.
Yasmine Traore led the Leopards with nine kills, Abbie Soileau added 21 assists, and Hanna Ward had 14 digs.
On Wednesday, the Leopards dropped a 3-1 decision to Vernon, by scores of 25-23, 20-25, 25-18, and 25-19.
The Cougars were swept by Ranger, with scores of 25-8, 25-13, and 25-21.
Temple (7-15, 1-8 NTJCAC) is averaging 12.4 digs, nine kills, 8.6 assists, three blocks, and 1.7 service aces per set.
Collin (7-14, 3-6 NTJCAC) averages 14 digs, 8.8 kills. 7.5 assists, 1.7 blocks, and 1.5 service aces per game.
