The Temple College volleyball team held its last home game of the year on Wednesday evening, as they hosted the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference champion, No. 2 Weatherford College.
The Coyotes set the tone early and surrendered the lead just once as Weatherford swept the Leopards, 3-0.

Weatherford started the first two games with 6-0 leads before Riley Mendiola and Grace Schneider registered kills to end the streaks.
Glorybell Puente, Weronika Urbanksa, and Beline Tibaut established their presence at the net front and made getting early traffic over the trio a challenge.
Kharma Brown had a pair of kills in the first game before the Coyotes ended the set on a 15-5 stretch. Brown and Lana Wright had kills in the middle of the second game before another 15-5 run gave the Coyotes a 2-0 lead in the match.
After Weatherford picked up first point of game three, Brown had a kill that tied the game and the Coyotes committed an attack error to give the Leopards a 2-1 lead.
Weatherford then used a 6-1 run to create separation and 15-9 finish to claim the match.

Wright, Brown, and Yasmine Traore each had multiple kills off Karlee Williamson assists. Hanna Ward, Sarah Rodriguez, and Kenedee Pennington were extremely active in the dig department, having to make numerous diving saves.

Ranger won their match over SWCC to take a half-game over Vernon for third, and MCC outlasted second-place Hill, 3-2, to pull to within a half-game of Vernon for final playoff spot.
