The Temple College men's basketball team dropped just its second game of the season tonight 89-94 in a back-and-forth contest against New Mexico Junior College. Temple's Torenzo Saunders and Max Portmann led the Leopards each with 18 points. Other Leopards in double digits were J.R. Adams with 14, Kaelin Jackson with 13, and Jon-Reese Woodson with 10 points. The Leopards had opportunities to put the game away but struggled from the free throw line and couldn't get shots to fall late in the game. The Leopards are now 11-2 on the season and will be back in action Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in Snyder against Western Texas College.
