The Temple College men's basketball team defeated Hill College 103-83 at TC Gym to win their conference opener. Temple's J.R. Adams had a double-double and led all scorers with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and was a couple assists shy of a triple double. Adams was on fire from behind the 3-point line with 18 of his 28 points coming from 3-pointers. Adams also came up with five steals on the night. The Leopards' had four other players score in the double digits, Max Portmann with 23, Malik Malone with 14, John Mouton with 11, and Kaelin Jackson with 10 points. The Leopards are now 16-2 on the season and will be back in action on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at Weatherford College.
