TC Men Pick Up Big Win Against Collin

TC Men Pick Up Big Win Against Collin

The Temple College men's basketball team won 79-77 in a back-and-forth contest against Collin County Community College at TC Gym to hold onto second place in conference standings. Freshman guard Kaelin Jackson led the Leopards with 20 points and sophomore forward Jon-Reese Woodson was right behind Jackson with 19 points. A couple other Leopards also scored in the double digits, Malik Malone with 12 and Max Portmann with 11 points. Sophomore forward Torenzo Saunders scored eight points, but all after halftime. Sophomore point guard Chris West and freshman guard Cullin Johnson each came into the game and provided some clutch help for the Leopards. This win puts the Leopards at 4-2 in conference and 19-4 overall. The Leopards will be back in action at home Wednesday in a non-conference match-up against the Concordia JV team. Wednesday night's game is also Chic-fil-A Night for the Leopards. If the Leopards score 100 points all fans in attendance will receive a coupon for Chic-fil-A.
